    Mark Plant - director

    Mark is the owner and director of modhouse. Starting in the construction industry at just 15 years of age, he often refers to all life as an apprenticeship. In 2001 he saw a great need to quality custom homes on the Bass Coast.

    Mark has built award winning homes, been awarded himself for his commitment and innovation in the building industry, mentored many budding carpenters through their apprenticeships and onto becoming licensed builders. Mark holds a great passion for the industry in which he has done his life’s work. Mark will be transparent and has the highest standards for quality in all jobs no matter what the size or price tag.

    Melissa Plant - interiors

    Melissa has been an integral part of the modhouse journey. Creating modhouse alongside her husband, Mark, back in 2001 was out of the need for a quality design and construction business for the Bass Coast and Melbourne area. Melissa is the first point of call for all things style and useability in your home.

    Her warm personality and flare for style means that the interiors of your home are timeless and budget driven, with quality products installed for a long life of use. Melissa has strong and long-lasting relationships with trustworthy suppliers making sure that you get the quality in your fixtures and fitting that will serve you well in your project.

    Amy Plant - business manager

    Amy has been in and out of the industry all her life. For 20 years she has been supporting facets of modhouse behind the scenes. Amy is the powerhouse behind the financial operations in the office and has a passion for streamlined processes both onsite and in the office.

    She has supported and advocated for the best outcomes for our apprentices in their training with TAFE and onsite - making sure the environment that apprentices are learning in is safe, efficient and of best practice, but also ensures your home is built to the highest of quality while apprentices are learning their skill set.

    Richard Vaughan - carpentry lead, architectural draftsman

    Rich has been in the building industry for 12 years, developing a diverse skill set across architectural drafting and carpentry. His ability to apply his knowledge across every stage of a project, combined with his precise attention to detail and commitment to quality, makes him an invaluable part of the team.

    As a qualified carpenter and architectural draftsman, Rich brings a unique understanding of both design and construction. He ensures every home is thoughtfully designed to align with your budget and delivered with a focus on quality, efficiency and cost-effective construction
